I was born and raised in Silver Spring, MD and have lived in MD all of my life. I am the youngest of two, but I have been known to be a little controlling of my older brother Billy (it's all love, I swear!)

I graduated from The University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) and then entered a PhD program in Gerontology at the University of Maryland Baltimore.

I love being with my better half Demetrius. I love watching our favorite TV shows together, including "Law and Order: SVU" and  "So You Think You Can Dance".  Additionally, we should be paid for our commentary during "Iyanla Fix my Life". I love laughing with her about almost anything because we are both so silly. I'm looking forward to laughing together for the rest of our lives.

Well if you're still readings this far, here's a little about me.  Born and raised in Chicago, I moved to Maryland after graduating from Hampton University (the real HU) in 1997. I've worked as a software developer ever since-- working everywhere from Gaithersburg to Herndon, VA.  It was while I was living in Herndon that I met Nancy randomly at a mutual friend's birthday party back in MD. Six years later and bam!! We have a wedding website... :-)

I'm the youngest of three (my parents saved the best for last!). My amazing parents were born in Mississippi, and moved to Chicago in their 20s. They both still live there, along with my sister, in the same house I grew up in.  

I'm so thankful for having Nancy in my life.  We have so much fun together, it's almost unreal.  I can't think of a better person to spend the rest of my life with; I can't wait to see what other blessings God has planned for us in our journey.
